Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
Wynn Boutique LLC ("we", "us") operates wynnboutiquecharleston.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
We don't sell your personal information. We never have.
1. What we collect
When you place an order Name, email address, shipping address, billing address, phone number, and the contents of your order.
Payment information Card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure form and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits, and the card type.
When you visit the site IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and pages viewed. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
When you contact us or sign up Whatever you choose to include in your message, and your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
2. Why we use it
| Purpose | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Fulfilling your order | Processing payment, shipping, delivery updates, returns |
| Customer service | Answering questions, resolving problems |
| Fraud prevention | Verifying transactions, screening suspicious orders |
| Site improvement | Understanding which pages work and which don't |
| Marketing | Newsletters and offers — only if you've opted in |
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us. That won't affect order-related emails, which we need to send you regardless.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the parties we need to in order to run the shop:
- Payment processors — to take payment and prevent fraud
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store
- Email and analytics providers — to send order confirmations and understand site traffic
Each of these receives only what they need for their specific function, and is contractually restricted from using it for anything else.
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or public safety. If our business is sold or merged, customer data may transfer as part of that transaction — you'll be notified if that happens.
4. How we protect it
We use SSL/TLS encryption across the site, restrict internal access to staff who need it for their work, and rely on PCI-DSS compliant payment processors so card data never touches our systems.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we'll notify you as required by applicable state law.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Site analytics data is retained for 26 months. Support correspondence is kept for two years after the matter is closed.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or strip it of anything identifying.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to records we're legally required to keep Opt out of sale or sharing — we don't sell personal information, but you may formally exercise this right Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing at any time Non-discrimination — we won't charge you different prices or refuse service for exercising these rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the rights above, plus the right to know what categories of information we've collected, used, and disclosed in the past 12 months. You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.

To exercise any of these, email support@wynnboutiquecharleston.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We'll verify your identity — usually by confirming details of a recent order — and respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we'll tell you why.
